Despite an overcast and chilly day, the annual OVMA/Farley Foundation Golf Tournament in August raised $28,000 for the Farley Foundation – more than double the amount raised last year.
The tournament brings together veterinary professionals and industry partners for a day of golf in support of the foundation.
More than 150 golfers took part in the event, which was held at Victoria East Golf Club in Guelph, Ont. Participants enjoyed a fun round of golf, a delicious dinner, silent auction and exciting prizes.
“Today isn’t just about having fun, it’s also about raising money for a good cause,” said Doug Raven, executive director of the Farley Foundation. “Over the past 10 years, this tournament has raised more than $215,000 for the Farley Foundation.”
